And that is why, in the country (and the world for that matter) that assholes like you would prefer, nothing will ever get any better. We have been punishing perpetrators cruelly and violently since the dawn of mankind and yet humans continue to behave as cruelly and violently has they have since the dawn of mankind. How's that working for ya, eh ****? Well, there's no money, power and control in the prevention...of medical issues, of mental health issues, or of criminal justice issues.
